On February 12, Fundão hosted a Plenary Meeting of the Route 25 consortium, a fundamental event for aligning activities and fostering cooperation among the project’s promoters. The meeting took place at Sala de Imprensa of Casino Fundanense and brought together representatives from the participating entities.
The main goal of the session was to present the progress of each entity’s activities, discuss interdependencies, and resolve issues that could impact the project’s development. This moment of sharing and discussion proved crucial for ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders, helping to secure the successful public presentation of results.
The event began with the reception and registration of around 60 participants, followed by the official opening led by Paulo Fernandes, Mayor of Fundão. Elisa Bacelo (Capgemini Portugal, S.A.), representing the consortium’s leadership, provided an update on the project, addressing topics such as the timeline, risk identification and mitigation, communication strategies, and reports and payment requests submitted to IAPMEI. The majority of the day’s agenda was then dedicated to presentations on the current execution status of each promoter’s tasks, split between morning and afternoon sessions.
The Route 25 Agenda holds intangible value in quality of collaborations, sharing of experiences, and learning opportunities for all participants. Together, the Agenda aims to achieve the objectives of positioning Portuguese companies as major exporters (EUR 80M in sales, 84% for export), implementing 22 demonstrators, launching 47 new solutions to market, attracting international investment, supporting solution adoption, and creating jobs for the Future of Mobility.
